Parents who wish to have their child baptized should call the Parish Office as soon as possible either before or after the birth of the child. Requirements include an interview with a priest or deacon as well as participation in the baptism preparation seminar, which is held the first Tuesday of each month. Godparents must be practicing members of the Roman Catholic Church and are asked to obtain a certificate from their parish certifying their eligibility to serve as godparents. Provided there is one Catholic godparent, a baptized Christian of another denomination can serve as a Christian Witness.

Marriage

Couples planning to get married at St. Agnes should make no plans regarding dates or hall rentals before meeting with a priest. Couples should contact the priest at least six months before the wedding. Participation in a marriage preparation program is required.

Care of the Sick

Please notify the Parish Office when a parishioner is hospitalized. If you cannot attend Mass due to illness, please notify the office so that Communion may be brought to the home.
