Jesus says that he is the resurrection and the life and that whoever believes in him will not perish but will have everlasting life.
The death of a loved one can be a very difficult time. At St. Agnes and St. William of York Parishes we are here to help you with your grief and to navigate the funeral process.
If someone you love is seriously ill, we encourage you to contact our Office so that a priest can come and administer the Sacrament of the Sick. Once your loved one has passed we will work with you to plan the funeral and burial. Arrangements are normally made through the funeral home but you are welcome to contact us directly with any questions you may have.
We have put together the following resource to help in the planning of the Mass of Christian Burial:
Mass of Christian Burial planning packet
First Readings for the Mass of Christian Burial
Second Readings for the Mass of Christian Burial
Music for the Mass of Christian Burial
