Sacraments of Initiation

Baptism
The sacrament by which infants and adults are welcomed into the Church.

Holy Communion

The reception of the Body and Blood of Jesus in Holy Communion. Children are normally admitted to First Communion preparation in the spring of their 2nd grade year after having  celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time.

Confirmation
The sacrament by which the believer is sealed with the seven-fold gift of the Holy Spirit. Formation for young people generally begins in 8th grade.

For more information on these sacraments please contact the Parish Office.

Becoming Catholic

Adults (those age 18 and older) who desire to become Catholic are guided along a path of discipleship until they are ready to receive the Sacraments of Initiation.

Each person's situation is looked at individually so we may help them move along their journey of discipleship in the manner best suited to their needs. This path of formation is commonly referred to as the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults).

If you or someone you know is interested in speaking with someone about the process for  becoming a Catholic Christian, please contact our Parish Office.
