Welcome to ArroW, the youth discipleship of St. Agnes & St. William of York! We’re glad you’re here. Our community is always open as we deepen our friendships with each other and with Christ. No matter who you are, family can be found here! Make sure to follow us @YMsaintsAW on Instagram and Facebook for the latest updates and inspiration.

Middle School ArroW is open to grades 5-8 and currently meets twice a month. We have a few different offerings:

  • First Fridays are a time for faith, fun, and seeing how it all fits together by learning about God and His Church in new ways through exciting activities. Some of our favorites have been Jumprope and Rosary Night, Looking for the Light Morse Code Night, and our Easter Relay extravaganza! There is always plenty of healthy competition (ESPECIALLY boys vs. girls) to go around.

  • Third Thursdays this year are going to focus on the saints and fun virtual games we can play to connect us to our friends even from afar—whether it’s because we’re being #saferathome or it’s our friends in heaven!

  • We also attend the Rise Up Middle School Rally put on by the Archdiocese of Baltimore and Ablaze Family Ministries!

  • COMING SOON: Avila Army Middle School Girls’ ministry, to help our young women learn how they can (and should!) be leaders in the Church. Interested in being a part of starting up this new ministry? Interested in leading a parallel boys’ group? Reach out!

High School ArroW meets once a week on Sunday nights and is a space to dig deeper—with each other and with God. This year’s theme is “With Friends Like These” and we’ll be going through the friends Jesus had in the gospels—His disciples—and what friendship with Christ REALLY looks like. Here’s some things that you can expect from High School ArroW:

  • Conversations about issues that affect our daily lives

  • Ruthless Uno Tournaments

  • Lectio Divina, Praise and Worship Adoration, and other prayer opportunities

  • Movie Nights

  • Open Gym Nights

  • An Annual Retreat and a Steubenville Conference in the summer

  • Emmaus Groups, which is our once-a-month small group night done in conjunction with Confirmation prep

SummerStretch is our annual summer service camp for middle school participants and high school peers. In the mornings, we disperse in groups to go into our local community to do service for God’s people before reuniting for some fun activity in the afternoon. At the end of the week, we all take a trip up to Hershey Park—serving and adventuring with friends has never been so impactful and fun!
Here are some of our favorite organizations and activities:

My Brother’s Keeper
Women’s Center West
Frederick Villa
Laser tag, water Olympics, and bowling.

Also, join us during the year for Stretch Days—once-a-season Saturdays of service, prayer, and fun that are a taste of SummerStretch!

You can check out more about SummerStretch by connecting with us on social media @SummerStretch00 on Instagram and Facebook!
