PARISH LENTEN MISSION - MARCH 16-18
Adoration will begin after 8:00am Mass each morning. After Benediction and the Reposition of the Blessed Sacrament, the church will remain open for Silent Prayer each day. On Monday and Tuesday, we will have the opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation from 6-7:00pm. On Wednesday, join us for a 6:00pm Encounter & Glory Parish Family Dinner. These days our events during the day, in church, will help us prepare for each evening's 7:00pm Mission Talk, in the Activity Center. Lean more here.
This year, our theme is "Encountering Christ in Family Life" with guest speakers - Mike and Annie McHugh of "Mike and Annie Talk."
-
Monday - Marriage, Not the Default (with Annie)
-
Tuesday - ProTECHting Technology (with Mike)
-
Wednesday - Fostering a Contemplative Heart in an Active Life (with Mike and Annie)

Adorers are needed for each day of the Mission. Please prayerfully consider taking this opportunity to spend some time in prayer before Our Lord.
LATIN, LANGUAGE, LYRICS AND LITURGY IN LENT
Ever wondered about the Mass parts we sing in Latin during Lent, what "tantum ergo" really means, or what Latin's relationship is to the Catholic Church and Liturgy?
Or perhaps you have wanted to learn how to say some prayers or chant in Latin?
Please join us at 3:45pm on Sundays in Lent for one hour in the Emmaus Room at St. Agnes Church for a discussion of the Latin language and its role in the Catholic Church and Liturgy. Each lecture is followed by a Novus Ordo Mass in Latin at 5:00 pm, with Latin Gregorian chant.
