Worship & Music
Our parish family is blessed by the many volunteers who give of their time and talents to lift up our faith community through fellowship, liturgy, catechesis, and evangelization. We'd love for you to be a part of our team! Call the Parish Office at 410-744-2900 for more information on any of the following ministries:

Liturgical Music
Volunteer vocalists and musicians provide music for Liturgies and other church events. This ministry currently includes a Contemporary Music group, an Adult Choir, Cantors, and our Latin Schola Choir. If you are interested in adding your musical talents to our parish, please email Stacey Bilenki, our Director of Liturgical Music at stacey.bilenki@gmail.com.

Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHCs) are laypersons authorized and trained to assist in distributing the Body and Blood of Christ during a Catholic Mass or to the sick, homebound, or to nursing homes. They are not the Ordinary Ministers (priests and deacons) but serve when there is a need due to the number of communicants or the unavailability of the priest or deacon. They should have a deep reverence for the Eucharist, a commitment to the Church's teachings, and fully initiated into the Catholic Church. Most importantly they should be living their faith.

Lectors
Lectors are representatives of the Catholic Church, specifically St. Agnes Church, who are laypersons who proclaims or reads the Scripture readings at Mass with exception of the Gospel. They also lead the Prayers of the Faithful, and recite the Responsorial Psalm when there isn't a cantor present. To become a lector, a layperson must be a fully initiated, practicing Catholic, and receive training

Altar Servers
As Bishop Peter J. Elliott reminds us in Ceremonies Explained for Servers, “A good server is part of a team - working in harmony with others, serving for the glory of God, and learning that service at the altar is truly prayer in action.” Members of our parish who have received First Holy Communion, are under 18, are encouraged to be part of something sacred - serving at the altar, growing in faith, and glorifying God together. For further information, please contact Ian Buterbaugh (ianbuterbaugh7@gmail.com) or Alison Jefferson (alison.jefferson@archbalt.org).
Ushers and Greeters
Ushers and Greeters share the responsibility for creating a welcoming atmosphere at the entrances to the church. This hospitality is an important element in establishing a sense of community for the liturgical celebration. Recognizing Christ’s presence in the Eucharist, Scriptures, the Priest, and the people, we respond to His presence by extending hospitality.
